The power status lights on your Wi-Fi® gateway indicate:
• Green: The gateway is powered on.
• Flashing Green: The gateway is starting.
• Orange: There’s a software update in progress. Don’t unplug the gateway or remove the battery until the update completes.
• Red: The gateway or power supply may be malfunctioning. Try rebooting your gateway to fix it.

Status light | State | Meaning |
Power | Solid Green | The power is on. |
Flashing Green | The gateway is starting. | |
Orange | Software update is in progress. Do not disconnect power until the update is complete. | |
Red | The gateway or power supply may be malfunctioning. |

Ethernet | Solid Green | A computer or other device is connected to an Ethernet port. |
Flickering Green | There is activity from devices connected to an Ethernet port. The flickering of the light is synchronized to data traffic. |

Wireless | Solid Green | A computer or other device is connected to the gateway using a wireless connection. |
Flickering Green | There is activity from devices connected using a wireless connection. The flickering of the light is synchronized to data traffic. |

Phone 1 & 2 | Solid Green | A phone is connected and registered. |
Flashing Green | The associated phone line is active. |

Broadband | Solid Green | The gateway is connected to the provider network. |
Flashing Green | The gateway is trying to connect to the service provider network. The light might flash for a few moments while the gateway connects. | |
Flashing Green and Red | The gateway has been trying to connect to the service provider network for more than three minutes. | |
Flashing Red | The gateway cannot connect to service provider network or no DSL signal is detected. |

Service | Solid Green | The gateway has obtained an IP address from the service provider network. The broadband connection is up and active. |
Fast Flashing Green | The gateway is attempting to obtain an IP address. | |
Slow Flashing Green | The service provider network is not responding, the gateway has been configured incorrectly, or there was an authentication failure. | |
Red | Internet service authentication has failed. |
